(Meant it to be in Chinese, but for some reason, the computer that I am using just can't let me type Chinese characters)
2 weeks in KL
Or rather within the radius of 50km of it. I've been in PJ and Puchong to be exact. Just want to record some of the interesting things that has happened within this brief stay in this place.
1) My brother's hospitalisation (or maybe later)
On 28th, the soccer-final night, he was supposed to be hospitalised. Doctor gave him permission to come home for the night. He spent it well by watching the match between Manchester United and Barcelona, alone. I discouraged him and he complied partially by watching only the 2nd half. A disappointing lose for Manchester die hard fan.
2) The irresponsible cabby
It was horrendous, but not surprising. The cabby overcharged us with a condescending tone, and the ultimate was to leave my limping brother and I about 500m away from his apartment. Traffic Jam was his excuse.
Excuse me!!!
3) The talk with my cousins.
We were real tired, but as the topic went on, it became more and more interesting. We talked about personality. Talked about different perspective looking at one person. And I've known something more about myself. I am still in the process of getting to know myself.
4) Stay in hospital
It was first class. My brother was happy with the doctor, of course he would. This was his second operation, it was less painful, less scar, and he could move his legs the second day of the operation.
We had another bed fixed in the room and I slept there with him for several nighs. Boring, but what an experience.
5) Staying in Puchong
No internet, no sports channel on Astro, no transport, and what worse was that I forgor to get my line roamed. So it was a good time of interacting with my aunt, my 2nd aunt. She had another 2 grandchildren who would be visiting her on a daily basis. I got acquainted with the younger brother as we talked about Ben 10 and Avatar Aang. He gave me a hug before I left. He is a smart boy!
6) Wrapping zong zi.
1st time ever. I made 3, or rather, I touched 3. Not bad for a beginner, my aunt said I passed since none of the 3 spilled while being cooked.Yay
7) making dumpling
I start to get confused with the word dumpling, what I meant here was sui jiao, not zong zi. Made it with cousins for my brother, not the first time, but it is as fun as ever.
8)Chee Theng.
I met him before, but we never talked. He is my grandaunt's grandson. How far is that, but we met on facebook after his adding spree...Another wonder of facebook.
9) Dino and Juno
Dino, is my cousin, my 2nd aunt's youngest son, and he recently had a daughter, Juno.
My aunt said that both of their name means Pig's brain. How interesting
I guess that's all for now.
Thanks for various host in this place. Thanks 2nd Aunt, 2nd uncle, mum and dad, brothers, cousins(this covers a lot of people) and the rest.
